 UHD Cc

Introduction:

Everyone wants good-looking visually pleasing videos and one of the first steps to achieve this is by color correcting, your video now in orbital color corrector video you have to understand the color workspace, in Alight Motion and if you're ready for that next step and maybe this is your first time here hi and my name is Lila so lovely to meet you and on this channel I share my best filmmaking tips, and tricks video editing tutorials and basically everything you need to know in order to start creating better videos all of the links are in the description.

Color Correction:

so make sure that you check that out including my color correction vs. color grading video because it is of vital importance and when I say phyto importance I mean vital importance to understand a difference between color correction and color grading if you're ready let's open up the color workspace on the left you see some intimidating complicated graphs but trust me they are not really that complicated and on the right you see different tabs such as basic correction.

first as you can see this circle is this beautiful gradient of all the colors on the spectrum and then there is this white mass or blob or thing I am not sure what it's called to be honest this white mass or a white blob represents the amount of color in the video as well as what colors are in the video if I up the saturation and make the video more colorful make the colors.

Effects:

what happens to the waveform as I adjust the exposure of the contrast and all the others I think exposure and contrast speak for themselves now these four the highlights the shadows and whites and the black they all work together and they affect each other so for example if we change the whites it will also affect the highlights too but only in the waveform the slider won't be affected 100 represents the whites and right here is the highlights the shadows and the blacks in case you have a lot of clipping going on you can raise the blacks a little or you can lower the whites a little bit but as you can see if I've raised the blacks it removes the blacks from the video

Frame:

so I am going to keep it at zero in this case instead I'm going to adjust the shadows a little bit and remove a little bit of the contrast we know that the waveform represents the exposure and all the tone settings of the frame so see what happens if I play through the clip as you can see right here this is gizmos face so it literally represents the frame of your video if at any point you're just like oh my god I just need to start over it it looks like a mess I was too ambitious I was too enthusiastic with it don't worry you don't need to double click on every slider what you can do is just click on the reset button right here and you will reset all of the tone settings now this is the fun part if you go up here to this check mark and you uncheck this box see what happens

Conclusion:

this is where we started I mean I love this so much I could literally check and uncheck the box all day this is so so freakin satisfying, if you liked this video please let me know in the comments and make sure to subscribe and hit that notification bow, in case you want to be notified when more videos come out and if you can't wait for the next video which is totally fine and understandable, because you just want your videos to be so much better click on this video

Smooth Zooming Transition Project File Download

December 13, 2022 0

Hello video creators! Welcome to Rc edits.

In today's tutorial I'm going to show you how to make the following... ...Smooth Grid Zoom transition. To make this transition, we'll first create a four-grid video wall... ...then zoom out on one of the clips and zoom in to the next one. We're going to do this all inside Alight Motion. But you should also be able to do this in older versions... ...like CC2017 or maybe even CS6. For some parts of the transition, I've also made a preset.

You can download these presets for free. More on that, later on in the video. This tutorial video consist of two parts. In the first part you will learn how to build the transition. And, in the second part, you will learn how to import and use the presets. You can find the timestamps for both parts in the video description. Before we move over to Premiere... ...I want to tell you why you need a subscription on ... ...the sponsor of this video. Envato Elements is a great source for all your creative projects. They offer millions of high-quality items. Like stock video and images. Music and Sound Effects. But also many transition templates and presets.

If you want to try them out, then use the link in the video description... ...to claim a discount on your first month. The links can be found in the video description. Okay, let's now head over to Premiere and start some editing. So, first I will show you how the transition and the presets are made. This way you know what to adjust if you want to customize them. Here, on the timeline, I've already got two clips that we're going to use for the demo. And, besides that, I've also got two images that we're going to use for the footage wall, or grid. Now, to start off, we're going to put the second clip on the second track of the timeline... ...partially above the first one. In my experience, around 3 seconds of overlap works best for this transition. But, of course, you can use any duration that you prefer.

Now, we can add both stills to the timeline, right on top of the other two clips. Next I'm going to switch over to the Razor Tool by hitting the C key, or click this icon here. And then, we're going to cut the track at this point. And, we'll also cut the bottom track at this point. Then we can switch back to the Selection Tool, by hitting the V key, or click this icon here. Then select the parts that we just cut off and remove them by hitting the "Delete" key. Now we can also move this cut off part back to the first track, just to keep it all organized. Now here, we've got the four parts that we're going to use for the footage grid. But, before we can do that, we first need to do some Scaling. And that's because the images are a lot bigger then the size or resolution of the sequence.

So I will select one of the images and then head over to the Effects Control Panel... ...and then scale it down until it looks better inside the frame. I also want to resize the second image, so I'm going to disable the top track for now. And then I can select the second image on the timeline... ...and then also scale it down inside the Effects Control Panel. And in case you also need to adjust the scaling for the second track... ...you could always disable the third track, and so on. In the next step we're going to "Nest" the four layers. And we're going to do this because all the layers have different resolutions. To do this, right click on one of the layers and then select Nest. You can then accept the default name and click OK. And we're going to repeat this same step for the other 3 layers. This Nesting part is important because if we don't do this... ...all the next steps for this tutorial will fail. And now to make this one complete, we'll also Nest all the nested sequences together.

So, I'm going to select them all, then right click and select Nest. And then accept the default name and click OK. Next we can double click on this nested sequence to open up the other four layers. In the next step we're going to apply the Transform Effect to all the nested sequence layers. In the Effects Panel, we're going to search for transform... ...you'll find this one under Video Effects, Distort. We can now drag this effect over to the timeline and then apply to all the 4 separate layers. And now that all the layers have the Transform effect applied... ...we're going to adjust them one by one inside the Effects Control Panel. We're going to set the Scaling value to 50% for all the 4 layers. And, for this example, we want this image to be in the left top corner... ...because the transition will be from the top right to the bottom left.

So, I'll set the position values to 960:540. And this, by the way, is a 4K 16:9 aspect ratio sequence. If you're using a full HD resolution, then you need other position values. Let's continue on with the next layer. This is the second image, and we want this one to be in the right bottom corner. As you've just seen, we need to change this one to 2880:1620. And then also set Scaling to 50%. Next, we've got the second clip in the video transition. As I said, we're going to move from the top right to the bottom left. So, this one needs to be in the bottom left. First I'll set Scaling to 50 and then change to position value to 960:1620. And now we've only got the first clip left over to be changed. First I'm going to set Scaling to 50 and then change the position values to 2880:540. And that looks perfect. All the layers in their right position. Now, we can close this nested sequence and then go back to the main sequence. As you can see we've now got the 4 clips ready for the zoom out and in animation. And, we'll also do this with the Transform effect. So, I will apply this effect to the nested sequence. And then make sure you've got the nested sequence selected... ...head over to the Effects Control Panel... ...and enable keyframes for Scaling and Position. First, I'll create a couple of keyframes for Scaling. We'll need 2 keyframes with value 200% at the beginning and the end of the transition. And we'll also need 2 more keyframes with value 100%... ...and these 2 will be in the middle of the transition. And together, these are the 4 keyframes that we'll need for Scaling.

Next, we're going to create a couple of keyframes for position. The first one will be in the right top corner, so I'll use Position 0:2160. And then I'll move this keyframe to the beginning of the transition. And next I'll need 2 keyframes with value 1920:1080 for the middle. Also, make sure that the Position keyframe are aligned with the keyframes for Scaling. We need one more keyframe with value 1920:1080... ...and also align this with the Scaling keyframe. For the final keyframe I'm going to move a couple of frames forward... ...and this one will be the Position keyframe for the left bottom corner. And the value for this one is 3840:0. And that keyframe needs to be moved to the end of the transition.

Next, we'll make the animation a bit more smoother. We're going to select and right click on the last keyframes and then select "Ease In". And then do the same for the first keyframes, but then select "Ease Out". And now we finished the top right to bottom left zoom transition. And I've got some good news for you. I've made a couple of presets in 8 different directions. And I'm going to start by telling you where to download them. If you follow the link in the video description... ...you will get to a page that looks something like this. As I mentioned in the beginning of this video, it is free. But if you do want to make a donation, then please donate your like to this video... ...or leave a comment below, that really helps a lot. Anyway, to continue, you need to click on buy now. In the next screen you need to enter your email address, select your country... ...accept the terms and conditions and then click continue. After that, you should receive a download link in your mailbox in a couple of minutes. After downloading, be sure to unzip the files before you move over to Premiere. Inside Premiere, you need to go to the Effects Panel and then go to the presets section. Right click on it, and then select Import Presets. Then browse through the folder where you've got the extracted preset file. Select it, and then click OPEN.

For this demo we're going to use the bottom left to top right transition. Now that we know which transition direction we're going to use... ...we can apply the position presets to the layers. And you can do this by simply dragging the presets over to the timeline. And now everything is in the right place to make the transition... ...from the bottom left to the top right. And to do this, we need to select all the nested layers... ...then right click and then select Nest. You can accept the default name and then click OK. And, after that, the final step is adding the right direction preset to the nested sequence. And that's it! These are the steps that you need to follow to use my presets. And that also concludes this video grid zoom transition. I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial... ...and if you did you might also want to check out one of these 2 videos. Anyway, as always, thanks a lot for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day.

In this tutorial i'm going to show you how to make a Advance transition inside, of Alight Motion  my name is Rc and i do weekly Alight Motion and filmmaking tutorials so make sure to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss out on future videos.

I got two clips on the timeline and i really want to transition, from this clip right here and into the next clip with it sliding this way so the first thing we need to do is to drag this first clip that we are transitioning, from up to video track number two and then you can select how long you want the transition to be.

so i really want to start around here i think and then i can drag the second clip that we are going to transition, to under the first clip so now we have these two clips stacked together and then i'm going to select the eraser tool by hitting c on my keyboard and i'm going to make a cut right here at the first clip and i'm also going to make a second cut at the second clip .

So now we have sectioned off these two clips right here then we can go and select the first clip that we are transitioning, from and we're going to work inside of effect controls so i'm going to put my playhead at the beginning of the clip and i'm going to make a keyframe so i'm going to make a keyframe for position and i'm going to go forward in the clip and make another keyframe

so i'm just going to drag this to the side and i just want this clip to be slightly off to the side right here just so we don't see it anymore then i'm going to drag this last keyframe, all the way to the end of the clip so now it will look something, like that this looks a little bit weird so we are going to make this other clip slide at the same speed at the first clip so first we need to hide this first clip and we can hide this video track number two by clicking the toggle track output and then it disappears then we can select the second clip.

we're going to make some keyframes on this clip as well so let's move the playhead to the beginning of the clip and then we're going to toggle a keyframe and we're just going to drag this all the way to the other side so we are slightly off screen then i'm going to move my playhead, to almost the end of the clip again and i'm going to drag this until we have it in the same place that it should be and then i want to drag this last keyframe up there as well i'm also going to add some blur but let's see how it looks so now we just have this simple little slide transition but i'm going to add some blur so the first thing we need to do is to go down here and select new adjustment layer,

when you get this box here you just click ok and inside of the project bin we have this adjustment layer so i'm just going to drag this on top of both of the clips and i'm just going to trim it so it fits on the transition right here and then we're going to search for effect right here called the directional blur and you'll find that in the video effects blur and sharpen folder and you have the directional burr right here so let's drag that on top of our adjustment layer and then i'm going to go to the beginning of the clip right here.

i'm going to set the values in the directional, blur to 90 degrees so that is horizontal and then we can increase the blur and this is something you can decide how much blur or not you want but i think i'm going to go around 30 and if you play this back right now this is how it looks but if this is too slow for you i will show you how you can make this go faster so to make this go faster we can simply, select all of the clips that are in this slide transition section and we can right click and nest it so click the nest button right there and click ok and then we can go over here and use the rate stretch tool or you can just click r on your keyboard and this will allow you to adjust how fast this section of the transition

So let's say i want to make this double as fast i could just drag this and then we can put this first clip on there and make sure we delete this and when we play this back right now we got a faster transition on the screen right now we got another video for you to watch next and if you haven't yet make sure to subscribe, and hit the bell thank you so much for watching create an inspire and i will see you in the next video

Rolex Badass Edit Project File Download

December 07, 2022 0

hey everyone Rc here and welcome back to gal today i'm going to be showing you six different before and Alight Motion that you can apply to your footage to create a beautiful transformation so if you're an interior designer or let's say a makeup artist or anybody that requires some sort of transformational reveal these effects will make your video look more dynamic

so i'm going to break down each effect inside of premiere pro but before we jump in i want to thank today's sponsor motion can so motion can is the creator of my favorite graphics pack for Alight it's just called graphics pack and you can purchase it from envato market you might also know it as video hive and the reason why i love it is that all of the motion graphics inside of the pack are nicely organized inside of a panel so you can just browse the different categories from kinetic titles transitions to different glitch elements and you can just click apply and it will apply to the timeline and sound effects are included as well and the best part is is that all of the graphics are responsive to whatever resolution that you're working in and any duration time changes that you make so if you want to purchase the graphics pack you can use my affiliate link below and help support the channel and you can buy a version for Alight Motion and premiere or final cut pro without further ado the time codes are below

let's go ahead and jump into premiere so for this demo i'm using footage from art grid and the reason why i love art grid is that you can download the raw original file so raw or log which is kind of a milky texture so you can color grade it how you want so for this i'm doing before and after the color grade so on video layer one it's the clip the exact same clip but in the log format and then on top is the graded version if you're interested in learning how to grade log footage you can click up here to watch my full tutorial so it's important that they're stacked on top of each other here because you want them to play at the exact same time because these are the same clips

so if you have a photo for example you'll want to make sure that the framing is in the exact same framing so put the tripod in the same place press record or take a photo and then after the transformation put it in the exact same place and take a photo and have the same framing so that way these effects will look a lot better so there's a little bit you have to do in production before you go into post all right so the wipe go up to effects search for wipe and down here underneath the wipe category you'll find this wipe transition

we're going to drag and drop it onto the clip here and now we'll have this basic wipe and you'll notice that it's already started here in the beginning what we need to do is actually roll this in just slightly so that way you get the full effect and to make it longer you can click on the end of the transition and roll it out to make it a little bit slower of a wipe so i think that this works just fine but it's kind of hard to see this line so to make it more obvious i like to go into effect controls make sure that you have the transition selected and i like to add a border width for this

i'm going to choose 15 and change the color to white so now we have our nice wipe reveal and it's easy to see the wipe with this white border but what if you want it to loop so for example if you want to export this as a video or as a gif that you can embed on your website to show a before and after loop so what you can do is you can take this wipe transition copy it by pressing a command c or control c on a pc and then pasting it command v or control v and then we're just going to roll in the end a little bit so there's a little bit of the before clip at the end and now we need to reverse it by clicking on this reverse so if you're a fan of missy elliott put your thing down flip it in reverse it it's your flippin nipple planian my nails but it is a little slow

so i'm going to actually just shorten these clips a little bit here because it's a little slow and i want the wipes to almost meet by extending them out so it's almost like an immediate white back and forth and then here i'm going to press o as an out point and i'm going to make sure that the loop playback button is on so make sure it's blue so this is what the loop looks like there we go so what you can do is you can just export this as an mp4 movie file and actually use an app called gifski that's completely free and you can just drag that file and it creates a really fast gif you can also export a gif in premiere pro but it takes a little bit more work to try to find the right settings

so it's not a huge file so i recommend using gifs key instead if you want to add before and after text as the wipe is happening this is what you can do you can select the text type tool here and here let's just type out before and then i can duplicate this graphic so let's roll it to meet the exact lenth

                            Soft edit Transition

Introduction:

Hello and welcome to Rc edits in this two part tutorial we're going to look at 8 awesome and easy transitions, that you can make in a matter of seconds even though you could make a preset for some of them these transitions, are so simple that they don't require a preset at least in my opinion this two-part tutorial is a collaboration.

Clips

hey everyone glad to be here you can find the first four transitions , in this video and the other four in the video that is linked at the end of this one anyway it's time to start some editing after the quick message from our sponsor vdivo.net vdfo is a great source for free and premium stock footage, for example all the clips used in this tutorial video are coming from vdivo and besides the more than 100 000 video clips they've also got a big collection of music and sound effects be sure to check them out and use the discount code storytime20 to claim a 20 discount on one of their premium plans, the links can be found in the video description ok now it's time to jump over to premiere and look at

Transition:

The first transition the first one is a simple zoom transition, and i've already got two clips ready on the timeline to show you how to do this one the first step here is creating an adjustment layer, you can do this in the project panel click on the new icon and then select adjustment layer and then accept the default settings and click ok you can now drag this adjustment layer over to the timeline and place this on top of the two clips then shorten the length of the adjustment layer until it's somewhat equal on both sides.

Effects:

Next we're going to add an effect in the effects panel we're going to search for the transform, effect you'll find this one under video effects distort i'm going to apply this effect to the adjustment layer, and then put the playhead right between the two clips and you can also zoom in to be sure that it's right in the middle now.

Keyframes:

i'm going to move over to the effects control panel and i'm going to look at scale properties of the transform effect first i'm going to enable keyframes, by clicking on the stopwatch icon here then i'm going to move that first keyframe, with value 100 a couple of frames back and then create another keyframe with value 100 and move that one a bit forward the playhead is still in the middle between the two clips and that's where we're going to create a new keyframe with value 300 and now as you can see the zoom effect.

Conclusion:

now you've got this awesome glitch transition, thanks again jill and that indeed was awesome and easy and that also concludes this first part of the eight easy transitions let me know in the comments if you would like to see another transition collaboration, video with storytime and premiere basics and now you can click here to see the other four transitions, that's it for this one thanks a lot for watching and i hope you have a wonderful  day you

In today's video, I'm going to show you how to create a rapid photo shuffle effect. So that way you can start using it in your own videos. And today's video is sponsored by Envato Elements. I'll tell you more about them later on.

For now, let's go ahead and jump on in. So here inside of Alight Motion , I have this folder full of all the photos I want to use. I'm going to open this up by double clicking and I have it set to the icon because that way you can easily see all of the photos. And the reason why I like this is that I can go ahead and move some photos around to rearrange it in the order that I want. And now we need to change the duration of the photo so that way it doesn't default to like 3 seconds each. Select all of them by pressing command or control. A control click and then go down to speed in duration. And instead of 3 seconds since this timeline is 24 frames per second, I'm going to have each photo be a court order of 24 frames per second, which is zero eight press okay. And now if we drag all of these clips into our timeline,

so it goes really fast here. Now, it may not be fast enough. You can certainly change it to zero four to make it even faster. But I like zero eight. And the next thing you need to do is just go through quickly on each photo and make sure it's at the right scale. So you'll select the photo, go up to effect controls, scale it down, and make sure that the image is fully in view. So now when we play it back, it's rapidly going through the photos, but we need to make it more dynamic.

This is where we're going to go into effects. But first, my name is Kelsey and welcome back to Premier Golf. This video is helping you out so far. Sure. To give it a thumbs up as well as subscribe. And if you're looking for some fast photo effects where you don't need to actually go in and animate yourself but use templates, you can use my link below to get seven days free of unlimited templates from import two elements. I just search for fast photo shuffle underneath video templates and over 3000 templates came up. For example, this fast photo slideshow for after effects is really cool because it has a really rapid zoom out effect similar to what we were doing in this video. But if you need a specific software, you can get on here and you can search for after effects Alight Motion  Apple Motion Final Cut Pro or DaVinci. If we wanted something for Premiere, for example, we can select that and just go through and see these different types of photo effects that they have here.

Now we've put a link below to my favorite photo slideshow templates from import elements, so you can go check that out as well. And of course, you can find more than just photo slideshow templates. If you go to video templates in general, you can see that you can browse by broadcast packages, elements, infographics, logos, things they have titles and lower thirds. There's also tons of royalty free background music and sound effects as well, which is super useful, especially when you're editing videos where you just need to go in and find a sound effect to test out. There's unlimited downloads with elements so you can test out as much as you want. And after your seven days free, if you would like to subscribe to elements, you can use my link below to get 70% off your first month. All right, thanks so much to Elements for sponsoring today's video. And let's jump back into the video to go to the effects panel and search for transform. And this is underneath the distort folder double click on Transform. So it's applied to the first photo. So using the transform effect here, I'm going to animate the scale so it starts bigger and gets smaller. So let's start the scale at 150.

             METERIALS FILE HERE

Let's type in 150 here next to scale. And then what we need to do is adjust the anchor point so we can click on this vertical anchor point and move it down. So that way it's better in frame and then we can click on toggle animation. And then at the very end of this photo, we can then bring it back down to 100 and you'll notice there's a little black line at the bottom. We just need to adjust the anchor point slightly down so that disappears and control. Click on the last keyframe and choose is end. So that way it's a bit more smooth of an animation. So what we can do now is copy this clip command C and then lasso and select all of the other clips and right click or control click and select paste attributes.

And this time we're just going to paste the transform effects.

So the transform effect has now been pasted on all the other photos, and you're going to see that a few of the photos we need to make adjustments on because the transform effect isn't going to fit all the photos because they're all different sizes and image resolutions. Do you see here on this photo we need to make adjustments, so let's select it, go up to effect controls here and we can adjust the anchor point. So it's a little bit lower. Somebody's going to go through quickly and fix the anchor

Hello, welcome to this new tutorial dedicated to  Alight Motion , one of the best video editors you can use to make professional videos by combining media files and adding effects, transitions, adjustments and great pieces of text. It is part of the Creative Cloud bundle for both Windows and MacOS under a subscription plan. As you open Alight Motion  its Home Screen shows up with the list of your latest projects made.

On the left side click on Open Project to browse for others you have or go to New Project to start from a new one. At this point the Import page opens, where you can set the project name and its location on top and select the first media files to import on it. Click on Create to switch to the main Edit interface, as you can see from the top left corner. This is the place where you build your video with the timeline at the bottom and the several panels that change depending on the workspace chosen from the top right corner. In this video we will stick with the default Editing workspace, but you can always retrieve any panel from the Window tab. Any Alight Motion  project collects several independent pieces of videos called Sequences. In this video we will work with a single one for simplicity. Make sure to set the correct video and audio options from Sequence, Sequence Settings... Pick the right template from Editing Mode or select Custom to set the options on your own including frame rate, frame size, pixel aspect ratio, sample rate and much more.

To import other media files just drag and drop these inside the sequence or switch to the Import page to select these and import them from the Project panel on the left. All these files are collected within the timeline as blocks called clips. Videos and images inside Video Tracks (with V letter) in blue and pink color respectively. Sound files inside Audio Tracks (with an A letter) in green color, complete with their sound waveforms, such as one per stereo channel. To check your timeline content use your mouse wheel to scroll in time and hold down the ALT (or the Option) key to zoom in and out around your cursor.

The Program panel above shows your sequence content where the blue playhead is placed. Click once on the timeline to check different frames or drag it to show frames sequentially. Whereas use the player to playback in real time, adjusting quality with Playback Resolution in case this results laggy. Now let's see how to edit clips with the Selection Tool on the left. Click on any clip to select it. Drag it to move it in time or in another track. Video frames and audio are linked together by default - to make these independent just right-click on these and go to Unlink. In case clips overlap in time the Program panel above shows the clip on the top video track in front of all other clips lower in position. To adjust the duration of any clip just drag its edges. This cuts content from video and audio files unless you enable the Rate Stretch Tool (or R key). With this tool you extend or shorten any clip freely by changing its speed rate instead of its content.

So extended clips will be played slower with a rate lower than 100% and shorter clips will become faster with a rate more than 100%. To split any clip enable the Razor Tool (or C key) and click on it! You can cut, copy and paste any selected clip by right-clicking on it. Go to Clear to remove the clip definitely. Use CTRL (or CMD) and Z to undo. You can also open the History panel to manage all your actions made. On the left side you have several buttons to manage each track.

With the eye button you can hide and show the track content; with the Mute (or M) button you can mute any audio track and use the Solo (or S) button to play the current audio track solo by muting all the others. You can also click on the Record button to record from your microphone. From Edit, Preferences, Audio Hardware... set the input source to use and then click on the Record button to start recording on such track. With the lock button you can prevent any modification on the current track so that you can't move or edit any of its clips inside.

With the Mix track at the bottom you can tune the master volume such as the audio level coming from the entire sequence. This is very useful in case the Audio Meter on the right shows red levels of distortion. To add or remove any track just right-click on any empty space on the left. To adjust the clip content you can open the Effect Controls panel on the left. This lists all the properties for the clip selected, depending on its kind. Images and video frames show Motion to set position, scale and inclination as well as Opacity to set any transparency level. In particular you can uncheck Uniform Scale to correct the aspect ratio of the clip and remove its black bars if you have them. On audio clips you can adjust volume level and channel panning between the left and the stereo channel. Click on the fx button to hide or show your changes and use the Revert button on the rig
